I've been playing guitar since I was about 15-16 years old, so 15+ years now! The electric Guitar (along with song writing), has been my most important hobby all along. Well, more than a hobby actually!

While playing the guitar is fun in itself, the most fun part is dreaming about new gear. At one point I was so obsessed with gear, that most of my time was spent reading Guitar Magazine (and all other available publications) and trying to figure out what wonderful piece of gear to get next. Nowadays I'm trying to cut back on the dreaming, and focus on the actual playing. This decision was made after the realization that the money spent on magazines added up to a new guitar per year...

So less reading and more buying ;-)

All that said I've still amassed a small but quite respectable collection of gear. To keep track of it all I've decided to write these pages. By doing so, I'm hoping to find out what I have, and what I still need. Maybe I'll rediscover something that I don't remember getting, or find new uses for old stuff. Right now I'm playing more than ever in 2 different bands , no less! So I need all the gear I can get...'or do I?

  • I'm really happy with the new Elmwood Bonneville. I realized how much I've missed tube amps these last few years. At the same time I'm struggling to get to terms with the fact that It's really not that easy to use. Balancing the clean and distorted sounds are much harder at first then with the midi wonders. Also, my rack equipment does not like like the loop on the elmo. I'm changing out the Replifex for a G-major to see if that would help with a noise problem I'm having.
  • Selling the Flextone seems like an impossible mission. Nobody wants to touch modelling amps now... Still, no surprice really.
